Twitter’s fired Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Parag Agarwal may get $42 million from the company. NDTV Online reported this information on Friday.

Elon Musk, the world’s richest man, took ownership of Twitter on Thursday. After taking ownership, he fired some of the company’s top executives, including Twitter CEO Parag.

Besides Parag, Twitter’s chief financial officer Ned Segal, head of legal and policy Vijaya Gadde were fired.

When Musk publicly announced his intention to buy Twitter in April this year, there were rumors that Parag would be fired if the ownership changed.

If Parag loses his job, how much money he will get from Twitter, was given by the research institute Equilar.

The research firm calculated that if Parag were fired within 12 months of Twitter’s change in ownership, he would receive an estimated $42 million (42 million) from the company. It is more than 428 crore rupees in Bangladeshi currency.

Parag was appointed as Twitter’s first Indian-origin CEO in November 2021. He first joined the company in 2011. He became the company’s Chief Technology Officer in 2017.

After many dramas, Musk completed the formalities of buying Twitter for 4 thousand 4 billion dollars.

After announcing the purchase of Twitter, Musk sat down at one stage. He also tried to back out of the deal to buy Twitter. He alleged that Parag misled him about the fake account on Twitter. The matter eventually went to court. Later, he completed the formalities of buying Twitter within the time stipulated by the court.
